Welcome to Zentachain. Located in the heart of Berlin, Germany, Zentachain is at the forefront of Layer 2 optimistic rollup technology on the Ethereum blockchain. These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the user) and Zentachain GmbH ("Zentachain," "we," or "us"), governing your use of our Sequencer, Bridge Interface, and Testnet (collectively, "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our Services.

Key Agreement: By accepting these Terms, you agree to resolve any disputes through binding arbitration or in a small claims court, foregoing the right to sue in court and to a jury trial.

Overview​

Zentachain is an innovative, open-source optimistic rollup facilitating seamless asset bridging between Ethereum and Zentachain through "Bridging Smart Contracts." It's crucial to understand that these contracts, along with Zentachain itself, operate outside our direct Services and are under decentralized governance, separate from Zentachain GmbH. Users engage with our platform at their own risk.

Eligibility​

To access our Services, you must have the legal capacity to enter binding contracts in your jurisdiction, complying with all relevant laws and sanctions.

Intellectual​

Zentachain owns all intellectual property rights in the Services. We grant you a limited, non-sub-licensable, non-transferable, exclusive license to use the Services in accordance with these Terms.

Access​

Accessing our Services requires a compatible cryptocurrency wallet. Zentachain is not liable for any issues arising from wallet compatibility or performance.

Services​

  • The Sequencer: Records and manages transactions on Zentachain.
  • Bridge Interface: Enables communication across blockchain networks.
  • Chain Network Testnet: Provides a sandbox for developers to test applications.

Usage Policy​

You commit to using our Services in a lawful, ethical manner, avoiding any actions that could harm, disrupt, or engage in unauthorized use.

Risk​

You acknowledge the inherent risks of engaging with cryptographic and blockchain technologies, such as potential data loss, hacking, and fluctuations in value, and accept full responsibility for these risks.

Interactions​

You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. Zentachain does not intervene in disputes between users.

Feedback​

Any feedback you provide to Zentachain becomes our property, which we can use at our discretion without obligation to you.

Privacy​

Our Privacy Policy outlines how we handle your data.

Third-Party​

We are not responsible for third-party services linked to or from our Services, which are subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

Accessing additional Zentachain services may require acceptance of specific terms relevant to those services.

You agree to indemnify Zentachain from any claims related to your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

Zentachain is not liable for any failure to perform due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
